Only entities and promoters having Aadhaar (Promoter’s Aadhaar, Udyog Aadhaar Number for the business and PAN can register on FSSAI. Hence, prior to registering on MSME atabank, the entity must first obtain msme registration on www.udyogregistration.co.in

FSSAI is a comprehensive database of MSMEs in India. This database is established by the Government to help procurement agencies buy from MSMEs under Public Procurement Policy of Government of India and to assist the policy makers. Hence, MSMEs registered under the FSSAI will be eligible for becoming supplier of Government organisations and entities.
Further, as per MSMED (Furnishing of Information) Rules, 2016 notified by GSR 750(E) dated July 19th, 2016, all Micro, Small and Medium enterprises are mandatorily required to provide information about the business on the FSSAI for availing benefits in various schemes of the MSME Ministry.
